Grey Hair: What to avoid and what to opt for

Grey Hair is no doubt scary though, for both males and females. It is a sign of aging and a pretty sad reminder. While grey hair is an age factor, sometimes it can also be due to many other habitual factors as well. Wethers it’s lifestyle habits, workload stress, and bad sleeping habits as well. It can be any of those factors and can be worrisome as well. No Stress!

The most basic advice that I can give you to start with is to stop over-stressing and overworking yourself. You are only going to harm yourself by stressing yourself. Take it easy upon you. Take a little time out for yourself from your daily routine. Do anything relaxing you can in that time whether it is taking a nap, doing something creative, reading, or just sitting alone for a while. The point is, do take out some time for yourself.

Proper Sleeping Schedule

Not getting proper sleep is another reason for premature hair greying so do take proper sleep. It is advised to sleep for at least 7-8 hours for an average human being. Skipping sleep is not healthy at all and is only going to lead to a lot of health problems that you just don’t want. Never compromise on your sleep!

Antioxidants!

Not consuming enough antioxidants can also lead to premature hair greying. Antioxidants are pretty important for our body and they address oxidative stress as well. Foods like fish, olive oil, apples, berries, etc. The Vitamin B in them is extremely helpful when it comes to grey hair. It is advised to include any form of antioxidant in your daily if you can.

Proper Diet

An undernourished diet can also play a role in grey hair. Not consuming a proper diet gives a chance to various issues to come forward and grey hair is one of them. A diet that is rich in Omega-3 fatty acids such as fish and leafy green vegetables like spinach, kale, and broccoli. Foods like an oyster, green tea, sunflower seeds, and mushrooms also help with grey hair.

Checking for Deficiencies

Deficiency is also one of the main reasons for premature hair greying. Vitamin deficiency can lead to greying hair. In people with Vitamin deficiency, supplements are advised by the dietitian or the nutritionist. Along with the supplements the natural diet will help as well. Items like milk, salmon, fish, and fruits like mango and orange, etc. are a great source of making up for the deficiency.

No Smoking

Smoking is also one of the main reasons for premature hair greying. Smoking can actually increase the chances of hair greying by 5% to 10%. Other than that, it can also cause some other issues that no one would like to deal with. Stop smoking or limit your smoking tendencies.

Henna

Henna is a natural and traditional home remedy that is extremely beneficial and great for hair greying. It is free of chemicals and other harmful things that will actually harm your hair. Henna is also used in many hair dyes and is termed a natural hair dye as well. It is a natural conditioner as well as it helps the hair to grow silky and nourished. Indian Gooseberry

Hands down one of the best home remedies one could ever try.
